A Welcome Letter

March 20, 2017

Welcome Mommies!

Whether you are a first-time mom or a soon to be a grandmother, we all share one common bond, an undying love for our children.  It is the kind of love that keeps us awake at night...literally (eye cream is my life source).  It shapes us into a whole new person...literally (I am now rocking out to Daniel Tiger songs in my control top yoga pants).  I never knew how to feel this love until I first laid eyes on my kids.  I also never knew how hard it was to survive until I had kids have I mentioned eye cream?  Before children, I worked in a high paced, high demanding job, and I was good at it.  I loved the rush.  However, all of my organizational multitasking skills could not prepare me for motherhood.  Raising children is a different type of high paced, high demanding job.  Most moms do this on top of a career, and for others, it is your job.  No matter how you do it, you do your best day in and day out.

Because we focus so much on the well-being of our families, we often times forget what is most important. Ourselves.  I created Momology Co because I wanted to celebrate motherhood.  Not just Hallmark's one day of the year bonanza but every day, all the time.  I wanted to remind you that you are not alone in this journey.  There are other moms out there experiencing the same tantrums & sleepless nights (baby and adult children included).  The day you give birth to your sweet-smelling bundle of joy is one of the most important days of your life.  On that day you accomplished what no man can do, your partner saw you ugly cry, and you and your privates met 10 new friends! So you need to be celebrated!
